Countr is operated by Pride Tech Solutions, Mysuru. This describes what we collect and why, under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023.

What we collect

• Your phone number, to sign you in and to run your membership.
• Your name, if you give it. It is optional.
• Your redemptions — which shop, the bill you declared, the discount.
• Your approximate location when you choose to share it, to sort shops by distance and to flag a redemption made far from the shop for review. It never blocks a redemption.
• Your device, as an anonymous fingerprint, to detect multiple accounts.

Consent

Consent to run your membership and consent to marketing are separate. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time in the app without affecting your membership.

How long we keep it

Redemption records are kept for 8 years because tax law requires it. Other personal data is deleted within 90 days of your account closing.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account yourself, in the app, under Account. Your personal details are removed and any remaining coins are forfeited. Past redemption records remain, without your name or number attached, because we are required to keep them.

In India. Our database is hosted in Mumbai.
