What coins are, and are not
A CountR Coin is an entitlement to a discount. It is not money and we are careful about that distinction, because it is what keeps Countr outside payment regulation.
- Coins cannot be bought on their own, only granted with a membership.
- Coins cannot be exchanged for cash, withdrawn, or transferred to anyone else.
- Coins reduce a price. They never pay for anything — you always pay the shop directly.
- Coins expire. Unused coins are not refunded.
- Discounts are whole rupees, rounded down, so you are never charged a coin you did not use.
